It doesn't matter. Drunken is an idea or skill set to add on to an existing skill set. There's no official sets. Some systems have them, some don't. That doesn't mean one is any more real or not than another.

many styles have different drunken forms incorporated. i wouldn't say add to an existing form, i only know one drunken form, but i can surely say that i dunno wat it would looked like if it wasn't done drunken. and the training is different too.

We also have a drunken form incorperated. For me the " drunken part" is a state of mind , like for example when you do the tigerform the " spirit" of the tiger should be in you. when my teacher does the drunkenform his eyes get a little clouded without drinking anything!!
It just imitates the movement of a drunk , BUT before you can do this you must have experienced how it is to move drunken.

but drunken form is just different from tiger forms, i can't really seem it incorporated. becuase they have different theories on how to attack and so on. different systems may have them, but if they have something like a crane form then a drunken crane i just dun't see it working, because as you said u have to move drunken, and u can't really move drunken like a crane.

I practice Northern seven Star Praying Mantis (shocked? ) which although I don't beleive to have a whole form based on drunken kung fu, there are forms which incorperate drunken kung fu, e.g routine 14 of lower leg kicking (sab sei lo tam toi [cantonese]) to name one.

Maybe the tiger was a poor example , I meant to say that in our drunkenform you have to have the "spirit " of a drunk in you and not be actually drunk.Like I said for me its a state of mind. In our style there is NO drunken tiger. I don't see that working either :D .

but to have the spirit do you not have to have the form as well? i don't think its enough to say you're doing a style because of your state of mind. a tiger style has tiger like moves, uses the tiger claw to pull you in. i think spirit and form go hand in hand.
